2. MySQL ni nini?

MySQL ni Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) inayotumika kutengeneza, kuhifadhi na kusimamia data katika relational databases.

MySQL hutumia lugha inayoitwa:

SQL – Structured Query Language

SQL ndiyo tunayotumia kutoa maelekezo kwa database.

Kwa mfano:

SELECT * FROM students;

Command hii ina maana:

Nionyeshe records zote zilizopo kwenye table ya students.


3. MySQL inaweza kutumika kutengeneza nini?

MySQL inaweza kutumika kwenye mifumo mingi kama:

Kuhifadhi wanafunzi, walimu, marks, subjects, classes na matokeo.

Accounting System

Kuhifadhi mapato, matumizi, michango na transactions.

E-Commerce Website

Kuhifadhi products, customers, orders na payments.

Hospital Management System

Kuhifadhi wagonjwa, madaktari, appointments na medical records.

Blog System

Kuhifadhi posts, categories, comments na users.

Loan Management System

Kuhifadhi borrowers, loans, installments na payments.

Table ni sehemu ya database inayohifadhi taarifa zinazohusiana.

6. Column ni nini?

Column ni aina ya taarifa tunayohifadhi.

Kwa mfano:

7. Row / Record ni nini?

Row ni taarifa kamili ya record moja.

Mfano:

1 | Amina Hassan | Female | Form One

Hii ni record moja ya mwanafunzi.


8. Jinsi ya Kutengeneza Database

SQL command ya kutengeneza database ni:

CREATE DATABASE school_system;

Hapa tumetengeneza database inayoitwa:

school_system

Syntax

CREATE DATABASE database_name;

Badilisha database_name na jina la database unalotaka.

Mfano mwingine:

CREATE DATABASE shop_system;

9. Kuona Databases Zilizopo

Tumia:

SHOW DATABASES;

MySQL itaonyesha databases zilizopo kwenye server yako.

Mfano wa output:

information_schema
mysql
performance_schema
school_system
shop_system

10. Kuchagua Database

Baada ya kutengeneza database tunahitaji kuiambia MySQL database tunayotaka kutumia.

USE school_system;

Sasa commands zinazofuata zitatumika kwenye school_system.


11. Kutengeneza Table ya Kwanza

Tutengeneze table ya wanafunzi.

Kwa sababu id ina AUTO_INCREMENT, hatuhitaji kuiingiza manually.

17. Kusoma Data

Command muhimu sana ni:

18. Kuchagua Columns Fulani Tu

Badala ya:

SELECT * FROM students;

tunaweza kusema:

SELECT student_name, class_name
FROM students;

Hapa MySQL itaonyesha jina na darasa pekee.


19. Kutafuta Record Fulani

Tunatumia:

WHERE

Mfano:

SELECT *
FROM students
WHERE id = 1;

Hii itatafuta mwanafunzi mwenye ID 1.

Mfano mwingine:

SELECT *
FROM students
WHERE gender = 'Female';

Hii itaonyesha wanafunzi wote wenye gender Female.


20. Kubadilisha Data

Tunatumia:

UPDATE

Mfano:

UPDATE students
SET class_name = 'Form Two'
WHERE id = 1;

Hii itabadilisha darasa la mwanafunzi mwenye ID 1.

MUHIMU

Usisahau WHERE.

Ukifanya:

UPDATE students
SET class_name = 'Form Two';

unaweza kubadilisha records zote kwenye table.


21. Kufuta Record

Tunatumia:

DELETE

Mfano:

DELETE FROM students
WHERE id = 3;

Hii itafuta record yenye ID 3.

Tahadhari

Command hii:

DELETE FROM students;

itafuta records zote kwenye table.

Table yenyewe itabaki.


22. CRUD ni nini?

Katika database development utakutana sana na neno:
